Hello.
My name is Shannon.
I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2011. I’ve worked in both medical/surgical units and in home healthcare, but the majority of my experience is in the emergency room. I am a Certified Emergency Nurse with BLS and ACLS training. I am certified in IV ultrasound placement. I received my Masters in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2022 and I am now a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I am a member of the American Nurse Practitioner Association and the American Med Spa Association. I have been trained by Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMETS), Empire Medical with advanced training from Merz Aesthetics, Evolus Practice and Ravenesse.
I started Slay Aesthetics with the goal of making Botox and filler more accessible to the average person. I was so intimidated the first time I got Botox and I wished I had someone to ease my mind and normalize something I had feared was “bougie” or extravagant. What I found was the result made me look younger, boosted my confidence and made me feel prettier! I want nothing more than to share that feeling! So if you’re intimidated or nervous about the process, rest assured I will make you comfortable and put you at ease. If you’re not new to the process, you’ll find I’m a professional and knowledgeable injector. I’d love to get to know your face a little better!
